The work boots I had from around a decade ago were soft, light, comfortable and durable. I loved them and could wear them for hours with no issue, and I had them in both the black and the chestnut. Since the change in materials, the style is unwearable. The soles are rock hard and deeply uncomfortable, and the upper is somehow more rigid yet less durable and more flimsy than the original. No amount of "wearing in" made a difference, I was still getting blisters by the time the uppers were starting to deteriorate.

Please consider revisiting the original design and materials. I can tell from the comments I'm not the only one who would welcome a comeback. I won't be buying the work boots again in their current iteration, I'm sorry to say.

Material does not look fantastic but it will do

I bought these in October 2023 and wore them during the autumn and winter but not spring and summer. When I got them out again in October 2024, they lasted one month before they developed a hole all the way through the boot - just long enough that I couldn’t return them because the guarantee had just expired. It’s a super narrow toe box, and the material is too inflexible and not strong enough and just tore straight through where it rubbed against my foot. The heel is also coming loose. Really disappointed as I’m trying to find an alternative to leather for a pair of boots that will last years, and these aren’t it. £100 for a pair of boots that claim to last years and don’t is pretty unacceptable. Like all the others, really just fashion boots, rather than work boots.

This is my 3rd pair of these boots. Each of the previous pairs lasted 3 years. This pair however was bought in February this year and is letting in
water on one of the toes already so I've not even had 10 months of wear from them. Such a shame as they look nice and require no breaking in.

I really like these: warm, comfortable, sturdy and they match every outfit
